For more great tips and content visit https://www.prestoninnovations.com Fishing at the top level is all about speed, and what I like to do when feeder fishing is I'll start on a light feeder, say 28 to 30 grams. And then what I'll do is build the swim up. When you're trying to build a swim, what I don't want is a big feeder crushing on their heads because it will spook the fish. So say I'm fishing in 10 to 12 foot of water, I'll start on 30 grams, then when I get the fish really feeding and I want to up things, as in catch quicker, I'll just step up to 40. The reason being, 40 grams will sink quicker which means my hook makes it to the bottom quicker More time my hook is on the bottom means more fish in the net. And then if things get really good, I can increase, step up to 50. All that means is the feeder sinks quicker, gets to the bottom where the fish are and I can put more fish in my net. It really is as simple as that.
